Wallpaper Details: Crocuses After The Rain
Crocuses After the Rain
By rfcbeach
March 30th, 2009
Just some crocuses on my front lawn after the rain. Camera body used was a Canon EOS 40D. Lens used was a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. The camera was braced on my knee to lessen camera shake, saturation and sharpness increased slightly in post-processing.

Very nice. I think there might be a tiny bit too much saturation -- some detail might have been lost in the grass blades, but either way, a great spring wallpaper.

Whole nature is so amazing and wonderful, it's only our choice to notice and to portray its perfection, and with this you did it to the core! I put this photo into my favourite ones list and obviously on my desktop. Thanks for posting, great job!

Nice work! Colour doesn't seem to vivid for me, I prefer slightly more saturated colours when it comes to flowers etc. I have the same camera.. just wondering what aperture and shutter speed was used?

Since I used my crappy 28-135mm lens that came with my refurb 40D, I used maximum aperture at 135mm, f/5.6. The shutter speed, according to the EXIF data was 1/125 sec. I'm glad everyone likes it so much!
