No offenses, but not a interesting photo. The quality is so good, clear image, balanced colors... but I agree with what someone said up, you should try something more interesting to focus.

Chris Gin please keep posting these incredibly magnificent beauties. Your wallpapers are most of the time are on my desktop.
It's really amazing to have same scene imaged from multiple angles, and they look really good on my multiple Apple 30" Cinema Displays.
I love your work.
Thanks.

@Paul.CK, I have submitted other pics in the past, of animals, flowers, water drops, etc, but they have not been accepted so I don't bother anymore. I do have a little bit more variety on my Flickr page (http://www.flickr.com/photos/chris_gin/) so check that out if you like. Or not.

I guess we all have our own opinions, but I think Chris Gin is the champion of these types of shots. The clarity and atmosphere captured in his work does it for me. Sure, variety of focus never hurts, but for what it's worth I'd put just about any of his submissions on my desktop.

Chris Gin!!! i Agree with you! they don't accept all the pics, they only accept what's best suite their nose! (sorry not being arrogant to the site) i use quite a lot trekearth well i want to take my photography further than wallpapers FOR FREE in here! anyway is good to give people some of your artwork for free, but don't be too generous you don't know where your art work is going to end, due to the high resolution available here, anyone can print a fine copy of an of my work or your our and stick it to a wall... anyway, i started from saving all pictures and then i found myself contributing to this site with my own pictures

Chris: have you submitted "Westhaven Revisited", "Road Block 2", "Just Another Tree", "It's a small world", "King of the Hill", "Episode VI: Return of the Splish", "Mount Wellington", "Evening Sunshine 2", "Good Morning", "Road Block", "City Lights", "Lone Tree", "Evening Light", or "Serenity"?
I bet several of those would make it.

@Se7en, I've submitted about 4 or 5 of those, but they didn't get accepted. I would submit some of the others, but unfortunately they have too much noise when viewed at full size so I don't think they'd get accepted either. Thanks for looking though!
@brizkit/Joel, thanks for your feeback too!

Wow, very very nice flickr collection. I agree with Se7en, how could they reject beautiful shots like those? You really are a talent photographer; it's a shame they don't put more of your shots up, they look really nice.

I like the shot. Place and colors are great, quality too. I put it on my desktop and I found that... something was missing. I don't why, don"t know what.. but it's missing ;)
Still a nice shot on my desk until the next great picture ;)

Although nice, you should try some new approaches to the same old place. Try a short focus on something interesting like a cool rock or a flower or something with the view of the sky and water as background blur that adds cool colors. I don't know, look around for something that can spice it up a little instead of taking pictures from slightly different spots.
